It's a nice day for a white wedding!
A very white wedding... snow storms make for some beautiful Colorado scenery and gorgeous wedding photos.
Congrats Amber and Bruno!
A sneak peek of a wedding in Austin, TX this past weekend. Such a rad wedding venue and amazing couple. Congrats to the Bricker's!!
DWC Creative made it's way into the wedding world! A few weeks ago, I participated in an awesome event called The Big Fake Wedding [previously mentioned in this post] in Denver. Please learn more about it on the BFW Website!
As a vendor, I provided paper accents and signage for the wedding. I hand-lettered watercolor bunting, chalkboard signs, watercolor signage, paper flags, and hand-lettered cards to decorate the venue! I had a blast working with all the vendors and meeting new people. It was a great experience and it definitely allowed me to branch out into new projects that I am really excited about! [I will update you soon!]
Check out these links below! To Etsy, the Ruffled Blog Feature, and to The Big Fake Wedding Vendor Guide that provides a list for everyone that participated in this awesome event!

"The Big Fake Wedding is a bridal show alternative complete with an emotional ceremony, a tasty dinner and a dance-party reception. "Wedding guests" are brides-and-grooms-to-be who get to truly experience the wedding vendors in action."
In one week I will be participating in The Big Fake Wedding Denver! Come out Wednesday, August 5th if you are a bride or groom-to-be! Tickets available on thebigfakewedding.com
The Big Fake Wedding is basically an event that shows off the local vendors (caterers, DJs, dresses, flowers,-- or ME, handmade wedding decorations!) to the guests who will soon be getting married and want the first hand experience with what is available in Denver. There's a real ceremony (vow renewal) and reception!
Most that know me, know that I am constantly crafting up something new. I have an Etsy site DWC Creative where I post anything from crocheted beer koozies, watercolor art, or handmade resin jewelry. So when The Big Fake Wedding reached out to me to make paper accents and signage, I was nervous and excited, but ready for the challenge of jumping into the wedding industry. I am so excited to meet with other local vendors and get to know clients who might want some handmade goodness at their weddings! I love making custom art!
Look out for hand lettered bunting, custom wedding cards, chalkboard signs and watercolor art made by yours truly.
